Local Services Mapping: Ashburton

Ashburton is a vibrant, growing region centred on the town of Ashburton, set between the Rakaia and Rangitata rivers, with the Southern Alps to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east.

The town of Ashburton has about 16,800 people. Other towns in the district include Methven, Rakaia and Mt Somers.

This community reports provides insight into the social services available in the district. It is also a foundation for promoting the district’s future and community wellbeing.
