Raeleen has a background in community nursing and clinical teaching. She has held appointments on a number of heath related governance boards and community organisations and is a current member of the South Canterbury DHB Maori Advisory Committee and Royal Australasian College of Physicians Maori Health Committee.
Participation in the community and community development is important to Raeleen. She treasures her involvement in a number of community organisations which include Te Aitarakihi Trust, Maori Women’s Welfare League and South Canterbury Hockey Association.
