How to apply for a donation
Application forms are held at Community House (Timaru & Ashburton), Timaru District Council, Ashburton District Council, Ashburton Information centre, Methven i-site/visitor centre, Mackenzie District Council, Fairlie Resource Centre, Twizel Service Centre, Temuka Community Care Centre, Temuka Service Centre, Geraldine Service Centre, Geraldine Resource Centre, Waimate District Council and Waimate Resource Centre.

To apply for funds from the Community Trust of Mid and South Canterbury
Read the Trust’s Donations Policy. The policy explains amongst other things:
who the Trust will receive applications from
the purposes which the Trust will consider an application
the information required to support the application
the closing dates for applications
Discuss your application proposal with the Community Relations Manager to ensure that your organisation and project are eligible to apply.
Send the completed Application to reach us by one of the the closing dates listed below.
A Community Trust donation is not subject to GST.

The Community Relations Manager of the Trust is always available to discuss your application with you and to offer guidance and advice. He can be contacted at:

Applications for up to $10,000 will be considered at each monthly meeting of the Trust except December and January.
Applicants are advised that there are closing dates on the third friday of each month (Jan – Oct) and they can expect applications to be considered at the Trust meeting of the following month, except over the December/January period.
Applications for more than $10,000 will close on:
The third Friday in March (to be considered in May)
The third Friday in September (to be considered in November)
Trust meetings are usually held the last Monday of each month. There is no Trust meeting in December.
